On the East side of Salem, there is a building.

On the third floor of this building, there is a room.

In this room, there is a door.

The goal is to open that door.

What leads to its opening and what lies behind is a mystery

. . . until you write it.

This was the premise given to 16 authors along with a set of rules:

1. Each author will write about a page before passing the story to the next author.
2. If you take over 24 hours to post your segment, the next author has a right to skip you.
3. Do NOT contradict anything written before you.
4. Do NOT alter any content of any segment once it has been posted.
5. Do NOT reveal what is behind the door until it has been opened.

What's behind the door?  Where will the story go?  Will it be awesome or a flop?
